Taos surprised us all with 27" of fresh snow over the 3 days we were there.

The mountain offered unbelievable terrain with the most amazing snow quality to go along with it.

Day 1 was NUKING snow all day long. Nothing but free-refills of powder every run. It was a great way to get the legs warmed up for what was to come. Temps were frigid, but it was well worth braving the cold for the fresh powder on every run.

Day 2 brought us a mix of both worlds. One minute is was sunny, the next it was snowing, but every minute was filled with so much beauty! The crew warmed up their hiking legs on day 2 by hiking to Corner Chute via the top of Chair 2. They were rewarded with an almost untouched run of fresh knee deep snow all to themselves!

Day 3 brought a beautiful bluebird day and newly opened terrain! One group spent the morning exploring some of the steepest terrain out there with Coach Kirstin, and the other group went with Coach Steph to work on some playful riding moves.

In the afternoon, Kachina Peak opened for hiking! The entire group hiked all the way to the summit that rises 12,481 ft above sea level! They were met with breathtaking views, and a group of Big Horn Sheep at the top. Followed by the creamiest and dreamiest powder run all the way back down.

All in all the Altitude Freeride Camp was full of new friends, freeride adventures, and lots and lots of powder!

Thank you Taos Ski Valley for hosting us! And for letting us be a part of your community for a few days!

See you next time....
